JJ McKayJJ McKay brightens the workday and gives listeners a charge during their busy day as she talks about everyday life events in a fun, upbeat manner. JJ is the Good Time Oldies Operations Manager, but dearly loves being on the air where her experience includes CHR, AC, Country and Oldies in a variety of markets. For nearly ten years, JJ served as Operations Manager for Adult Hit Radio. When JJ's not working she enjoys family, friends, sports and spirit-filled activities.

Bill LyallBorn just minutes from the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, Bill got his first taste of radio as a boy scout when the scout leader (an electrician) let him talk to people across the country on a ham radio! Bill served his country in the Army as a nuclear weapons inspector & traveled extensively thru Europe - attending lots of rock concerts (including Jimi Hendrix just weeks before his death). Bill's radio career has spanned nearly 25 years including jobs as sales rep, newscaster & on-air talent (his love). Bill's a single dad of a lovely college age daughter who, in her youth, would actually sleep in the studio while Dad was on the air working! Bill loves to ski, cook, race bicycles, travel, work with his raku pottery & hang with his pets - truly a product of the Age of Aquarius!

Big Tom

We don’t know much about Big Tom – he just showed up at our door one day with a stack of Drifters 45’s under his arm asking for directions to the nearest diner, and he’s been around ever since. As the host of Doo Wop Drive, Big Tom gets to play nothing but golden group sounds from the 50’s and 60’s every Friday night from 7 to 10 on WMTR, and he couldn’t be happier. Well he could, but engineering wouldn’t install a street corner lamp post in the studio (they were afraid that he would never leave).

Give Big Tom a call at 973-267-WMTR for your instant doo wop request, or drop him an email at bigtom@wmtram.com for an e-quest or just to say hi!
